Brand & Digital Creator

My name’s Ben, and I help businesses, publishers, and entrepreneurs build strong brands, both online and in print. I specialise in brand identity, digital design, and e-commerce, working with WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify to create clear, professional websites that work hard for their owners.

Beyond the screen, I’ve designed retail POS, packaging, and print marketing materials, making sure a brand feels just as confident in the real world as it does online. Whether it’s a new Shopify store, a refreshed identity, or packaging that earns a second look on the shelf, my focus is always on detail, usability, and results.

Publishing Designer

I began my publishing career in 1996 at MATCH Football Magazine for EMAP (now Bauer Media). It was my first proper design role and an early crash course in layout, typography, and production.

Since then I’ve designed a wide range of books, magazines, and corporate publications, helping authors and businesses bring their ideas to life in print and digital form.

Since 2008, I’ve been Art Editor of Reflections Magazine, Derbyshire’s largest-circulation lifestyle title. I handle its overall design and work closely with the editorial and sales teams to keep the magazine fresh, engaging, and commercially effective. The experience has taught me how design supports storytelling and how visual structure can influence what people read and remember.
